Rapper Dr. Dre and big-time music producer and executive Jimmy Iovine recently announced that they’re opening a unique high school in south Los Angeles. It will focus on helping students become entrepreneurs through real-life experiences. Education expert Edmund Adjapong says this approach incorporates the spirit of hip hop—something he thinks should be part of all grade school science curriculum. Professor Adjapong teaches at Seton Hall University and is director of the Science Genius Program, which engages urban students in the sciences through hip hop.
