Canadian vs. American Dads

America and Canada are similar in most ways. But our different systems of government have given rise to some pretty specific differences in the way fathers parent. Kevin Shafer is studying the fascinating contrasts he’s found between Canadian and American dads for a book he’s got coming out next year called “So Close Yet So Far Away.” Shafer is a professor of sociology and Canadian Studies at Brigham Young University.
