Pull up a chair to hear you next favorite song.
Through the Garage Door
Remember those good times when you had your buddies over to play your favorite tunes for them? There's something in each of us that wants our friends to like the same things we like; otherwise what use are they? Well, pull up a chair friend—you gotta hear this next one! In each episode, we get some friends together to bring in some songs that fit an assigned topic. We listen to the songs in their entirety and chat about them in order to discover some new favorites.

Don Shelline
Born Donnie Patalano, Shelline changed his name later in life to avoid confusion with the famous Italian gelato maker. He has spent most of his years in radio, in front of the mic, behind the mic, under the mic, and over it. His earliest Rock 'n' Roll memory was of his mom playing Elvis Presley singles on the family's deluxe monaural Magnavox High Fidelity phonograph. He plays occasional keyboard and accidental flute parts in his on-and-off rock band(s). His high points in his performing life came as his band opened for the Beach Boys, Kansas, and Styx. He later opened the door for Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. Don co-hosts Through the Garage Door on BYU Radio.

Mark Wait
Mark comes to Through the Garage Door from a deep background in advertising and audio engineering. You may see Mark cruising the mean streets in his bright green Boss 302, or on his bright green Ninja ZX-14R, wearing his very expensive bright green headphones. His favorite color is red. If you want to get on Mark's bad side, just try stepping into the crosswalk as he is approaching in whatever bright green vehicle he is speeding in, or suggest that he drive a Trans Am!
