With the Biden Administration’s push to get all students back to school in-person, concerns about traditional school bullying reemerge. For all the attention that’s been paid to bullying in schools over the last decade, intervention programs just haven’t worked well to prevent it. University of California, Davis sociology professor Robert Faris thinks that’s because anti-bullying programs are targeting the wrong problem.
