A new BYU study shows that there may be problems with the process of DNA Barcoding. DNA Barcoding is a movement to catalog all life on Earth by a simple standardized genetic tags. This could help in making foolproof food inspections and creating stronger defenses against disease-causing insects.
BYU Hawaii President Steven C. Wheelwright will give the opening devotional of the semester this upcoming Tuesday. President Wheelwright will introduce a program to students that will focus on developing stronger devotion to BYU Hawaii.
BYU Women's Volleyball will open the season at the annual BYU Molten Classic Friday against Utah State. They will play two more games on Saturday against Tulane and Missouri.
