I Survived 9/11

What do the terror attacks on September 11th mean to kids who weren’t alive that day? Lauren Tarshis is one of the few authors who’ve attempted to tell the story of that day for kids. She writes the “I Survived” series, which places a fictional child at the center of a historic trauma. “I Survived the Bombing of Pearl Harbor” and “I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic” are examples. Her book “I Survived the Attacks of September 11, 2001” has now been adapted into a graphic novel for kids.
