Adopting Animals

Animals make a great addition to most families and will give us love, comfort, and entertainment. There are approximately 3.1 million dogs that enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year. These dogs would thrive in a loving home, but some of them do not get the opportunity to. Why should we adopt dogs from the shelter? To answer this question, we have invited Jill Twiss, New York Times best-selling author who recently wrote a children’s book about the 1st White House dog that was adopted from a shelter.
