All over the United States this time of year, in cities large and small, tuba players professional and amateur gather for Tuba Christmas concerts! The first Tuba Christmas concert in the USA was organized by  Harvey G Phillips in 1974 as a way to pay tribute to his tuba teacher William Bell.  BYU's Tuba Christmas concert is an annual event and has been for nearly 40 years.
