But what does it look like when this involvement goes a step too far? Maybe you’ve heard the term “helicopter parenting” before, which describes this phenomenon that seems to be on the rise. But what does it mean to be a “helicopter parent”? Today we are joined by Dr. Kristin Moilanen, a professor of Child Development and Family Studies, here to talk with us about the effects of helicopter parenting.
