It’s important to experience the world, to see the sights, and to meet new people. As we do, we become more cultured and able to connect with others. As we connect with others we can make the world a better place, and even better to experience. There are times when traveling isn’t an option, of course, so experiencing the world can be done in different ways. We believe, here at The Apple Seed, that one of the best ways is through stories. The whole world has stories to share, and we want to hear them all. Every story can bring new experiences to new people, and new connections between them. We have stories today about experiencing the world in many different ways from tellers like Len Cabral, Jenni Cargill-Strong, and more. On today’s episode, enjoy the following: “Mezzi Gallo” by Len Cabral from Buzz Buzz Once There Was (3:05) Radio Family Journal: "Grandpa's Costumes" by Sam Payne (16:39) The Daily Mix: “Popcorn” with Sheila Arnold (22:44) “Roots and Raccoons” by Molly Catron from Do Lord, Oh Do Lord, Oh Do You Remember Me? (30:44) “The Legend of the Big Dipper” by Jenni Cargill-Strong from Reaching for the Moon and Other Wisdom Tales (47:36)
