Guest: Robert Darden, Professor in the Department of Journalism, Public Relations and New Media in Baylor University’s College of Arts & Sciences  A distinctly American musical legacy is quickly disappearing—gospel on vinyl. Baylor University’s Black Gospel Music Restoration Project has embarked on the world’s largest initiative to identify, acquire, digitize and catalogue the music, which will eventually find a permanent home in the Smithsonian’s new National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC.
