Few people dream about climbing to the highest point of the earth. With the intense training, extreme drop in temperature, and the serious risk of death, Mount Everest is certainly not for everyone. In fact, it’s for an extreme few, with only about 5,000 successful climbers to date. Today we are talking with one of those few climbers to understand what it’s really like to summit Mount Everest. David Roskelley is an avid mountain climber who has not only climbed Everest, but the highest mountain on each of the seven continents. In January of 2020, he reached the top of Mount Sidley in Antartica, being the first American to climb the highest volcano on each of the seven continents.
