Breast Cancer is the second most common type of cancer, impacting roughly one in eight women in the United States. Researchers have identified some of the risk factors for breast cancer that come down to hormonal, lifestyle, and environmental factors. But did you know that past trauma, high levels of stress, and ACEs are also risk factors for breast cancer? Here with us today is one woman, Susan Morris, who recently wrote a memoir on her experience with healing from ACEs and their relation to her fight against breast cancer.
