Construction workers are some of the most essential employees in society. When you’re walking outside, everything you see has been created by the hands of these workers to benefit our daily lives. From office buildings to playground swing sets, we rarely think twice about the structures that surround us. In fact, at the same time we may even look down on careers in construction with some judgement. But why is that? Where does our negative perception come from? Today we are talking with Sydne Jacques, an engineer turned CEO and professional speaker. Sydne is very passionate about the construction workers, nicknaming them “humans in hardhats”.
