Nasal Suicide Spray

A fast-acting nasal spray can ease depressive symptoms in people contemplating suicide. You can't buy it over the counter and it's only for emergencies. The FDA approved this spray just this past summer. Psychiatrist Gerard Sanacora participated in the research that led to this drug’s approval, and he’s a professor at Yale University’s school of medicine. (Originally aired Sept 8, 2020).
