Founding Fathers’ Families

America’s founding fathers are often put on a pedestal as being more than mortal. But they were just men with daily lives and interests that shaped their ideas about how to form the new nation. Many of them were also literally fathers. And BYU political scientist Jeremy Pope’s research suggests founding fathers who had sons pushed for a different kind of government than founders who had mostly daughters.
