First Lady of Baseball

This will be the first Major League Baseball season in history that one team will have a woman in one of their top jobs. Kim Ng is the new General Manager of the Miami Marlins. Ninety years ago, another woman of color, Effa Manley, blazed a similar trail in baseball, and Manley's story is told in Journalist Andrea Williams' new book “Baseball’s Leading Lady.”
