Richard and Linda Eyre tackle a potentially controversial topic this week: what's happening to families? Throughout the world it seems like the importance of families is diminishing while the importance of self and personal liberty is being lauded in its place. Speaking of the perceived fear of world overpopulation perpetuated by the media, Richard Eyre said: "We should be worried less about overpopulation, which we have fretted over for many years now, and worry more about underpopulation today", referring to recent statistics that show the declining birth rate throughout the world.  Linda Eyre, quoting renowned New York Times journalist David Brooks, said: "People are not better off when they are given maximum personal freedom to do what they want, they are better off when they are enshrouded in commitments that transcend personal choice; commitments of family, God, craft, and country".  Go check out the Eyre's daughter Charity's blog drippingwithpassion.blogspot.com to follow along with Linda's story about her beloved daughter!
