Ig Nobel Prizes

Did humans grow beards to protect themselves from punches to the face? Do the smells coming out of people at the movie theater correlate with how much violence, swearing, or sex is happening on screen? Is it better to transport a sedated rhino upside down or right side up? At least one of those questions probably made you laugh, and also made you wonder what the answer is. This is exactly why they’re all real scientific studies that received a 2021 Ig Nobel Prize.
