Good news for egg lovers -- the guidelines no longer say you should limit cholesterol intake. Salt limits were eased, too, but we're still supposed to avoid saturated fats—like those found in meat and dairy. Also, skipping breakfast is no longer considered a health hazard. These updates are always a topic of heated debate among lobbying groups representing various food products and health conditions.
