Understanding Black Identity

In hopes of becoming a nation in which all men are created equal, it’s important that we take some time to really understand what Black Identity is. So, as we close Black History month we’re going to take some time to discuss what Black Identity is; from how it’s portrayed in the media, to what the journey to understanding what it means to youth and young adults, and everything in between. Here to help us today is author and senior lecturer in African Studies at Eastern Washington University, Dr. Angela Schwinn-di-men.
