School Shootings

Dr. Matt Townsend tackles the tough subject of how to talk to kids about school shootings. If a child sees a story on the news about a school shooting they may have questions about their safety or why a person would commit that type of crime. Dr. Townsend provides a reasoned approach that includes listening to the child and finding out what they want to know instead of jumping to conclusions that may cause more concerns in the mind of a young child.
