Celine Cousteau’s new documentary started with an email she received from a man she’d met years ago at a conference of indigenous peoples in Brazil. He said that his people were dying. A grueling expedition into the Amazon rainforest resulted in “Tribes on the Edge,” which received the Special Jury Award at the Brazil International Film Festival.
