Record Number of Individuals Quitting Their Jobs

A record number of people quit their job in April, 4 million in one month. The labor market has been very tight, and it’s been hard for employers to hire people, so this could actually be a good sign. On the one hand, there have been a lot of people retiring, 2.6 million since pandemic began. But, there are still more jobs open now than ever. Should we be concerned?
