Soles4Souls (0:00:00) Now that winter is just around the corner, what is the first thing we do before stepping outside our homes into the November cold? We put our shoes on. Sadly, there is a huge population in the world that doesn’t have the luxury of owning a pair of shoes. It can be dangerous to not have access to your own shoes, especially in countries with extreme heat or hazardous road conditions. This is what inspired the creation of Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting against world poverty through donations of new and used shoes. We’ve invited director of national partnerships Megan Walsh on the show to talk with us about her experience with the organization and how far donating a pair of shoes can go.
