A tiny country just above Greece has agreed to change its name in order to join NATO – and, it hopes, the European Union, too. Why would the name of a country matter to other European nations? Well, mostly the name matters to one member of NATO and the EU: Greece has long felt threatened by its small northern neighbor calling itself Macedonia.
