Those thirty men are what the UN’s HeForShe initiative called “impact champions” – they included the Presidents of Iceland, Sweden and Japan, as well as the CEOs of Unilever, Barclays and McKinsey. If you wanted to be cheeky, you could call them “suffragents.” That’s how a group of prominent businessmen and politicians were known for their efforts to support women’s suffrage nearly 100 years ago.
