Did you know that in the US, about 40% of our food supply ends up going to waste? Oftentimes, food from grocery stores gets rejected simply for not meeting strict cosmetic standards, regardless of the quality of the food itself. All that waste may seem like a big problem that’s out of our hands, but luckily, there are plenty of people striving to come up with creative business solutions to address the issue. Today we’ll be speaking with one of those people. Reilly Brock, who has previously worked as a creative director at “Imperfect Foods”, a company that aims to tackle the food waste problem by turning one store’s trash into another customer’s treasure.
