We want to share the spirit of the season with you and have “come a-caroling” radio style! It all started one morning when we piled our staff into the performance studio, set some mics, and pushed record.  This is truly a homegrown, homemade holiday edition of Highway 89 from us to you. And though the packaging may not be fancy (host, Don Shelline’s voice was nearly gone) the sentiment is sincere. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! Don Shelline hosted the show Natasha Christensen recruited her husband and “Good Company” bandmate, Ben, to sing a rendition of O Come, O Come, Emmanuel with her MUSIC Shine For Me Again Star of Bethlehem by Dan Carter; The First Noel/Away in a Manger arr. by Chemain Evans; Silent Night by Franz Gruber & Josef Mohr; Angels we Have Heard on High; Cantique de Noel (Oh Holy Night)  by Adolphe Adam; Carol of the Bells arr. by Michael Wyatt; O Come, O Come, Emmanuel arr.  by Natasha Christensen; Christmas Time is Here by Vince Guaraldi PARTICIPANTS BYU Radio General Manager: Don Shelline; Classical 89 General Manager: Eric Glissmeyer; Student producers: Joseph Andrews, Natasha Christensen, Skylar Hansen, Juan Mijares, Michael Wyatt; Marketing Manager: Christine Nokleby; News Director: Bruce Seely; Friends & family: Alex Vincent, Ben Christensen, Chemain Evans, Aurelia Andrews Joslyn Michael Wyatt specially arranged a new version of “Carol of the Bells” for cello and violin   Skylar Hansen and Juan Mijares (not pictured) both like to play guitar in their free time.
