Does the American Dream Die in Middle School?

That’s Plan A. Plan B is to repeal Obamacare and work on a replacement later. Republicans are struggling to get support for that, too. So, Plan C appears to be what President Trump has touted many times on Twitter - just let Obamacare fail on its own and Republicans and Democrats will have no choice but to come together and fix things.  Is Obamacare really destined to collapse? And why are Republicans having such a hard time agreeing on a plan to replace it?

Guest: Heather Miller, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Texas A&M There’s a drug—likely in your medicine cabinet—a potentially fatal opioid that some addicts are turning to. It’s not one of the usual suspects - oxycodone or hydrocodone. It’s actually the active ingredient in Imodium – you know the anti-diarrhea medication? Imodium and generic versions of it contain “loperamide” (low-PEAR-uh-mide). While the number of people overdosing on loperamide is still small, that figure is increasing according to new research published in the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association.

A joint expedition from Yale and Belgium’s Royal Museums of Art and History uncovered some of the largest and oldest hieroglyphs ever found, dating back over 5,000 years. Egyptologist John Coleman Darnell, a professor in Yale’s Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations led the expedition.
