The pandemic has forced a lot of us to think about being prepared for a crisis. Plant scientist Cary Fowler is the architect of one of the world’s most dramatic back-up plans. It’s an underground vault on a Norwegian island not far from the North Pole, where hundreds of millions of frozen seeds are stored to protect the world's crop diversity.
