POPS Clubs

Millions of kids in America today have a parent in prison. Amy Friedman founded a high school club for teens in that situation because she knows, personally, the shame and stigma of having an incarcerated loved one. In the club, they use poetry, art, and prose to work through their feelings—the anthology of their work is called “Dream Catchers.” (Originally aired: January 11th, 2021)
