(3:43) A introductory conversation with Detroit storyteller Robert B. Jones about his experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, and about some of the meaning that got made in his life during a difficult time. (5:05) Robert B. Jones honors his grandmother through sharing her story, and because it’s Reverend Jones, you can bet that at least part of the story will be told through the blues. The story's called "Song for Arnecia," and it was recorded live in the Apple Seed Studio. (24:17) Host Sam Payne shares a memories about his bookworm grandpa, and then plays and sings a song he composed for his funeral called "The Book You Sent Today."
