End of Life

The pandemic has pushed many people to give some deeper thought to their end-of-life desires, which has also coincided with a new type of lawsuit where people charge doctors and hospitals with doing too much to keep someone alive, contrary to that patient’s wishes. Thaddeus Pope–a medical law expert and professor at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, MN–has served as an expert witness in end-of-life cases.
