There is no director that embodied the classy side of horror more than Alfred Hitchcock. Each film, along with its Bernard Herrmann score, put viewers on the edge of their seat. And from our Clean Screens perspective, we also appreciate being scared without having the gore, language, or sexual content that usually accompanies the horror genre. That’s why the Master of Suspense has earned his own show during our month or horror, with special academic guest Kimball Jensen from the BYU Film department. Also Jeff reviews the two big family scary movie releases this October, The House with a Clock in its Walls and Goosebumps 2, and gives a spooky Panning for Good that Twilight Zone fans will be happy to hear.
