Peace Memorials

Several former secretaries of defense recently wrote an op-ed, calling for the creation of a memorial to honor those who died in the global war on terrorism. There are three major war monuments already on the National Mall in DC honoring veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. But Michael Knox would like to see a monument to honor the people who’ve worked to prevent wars. Knox is the founder of the US Peace Memorial Foundation. (Originally aired February 22nd, 2021)
