Channel Islands Occupation

The Channel Islands, which sit in the English Channel of the coast of France, were the only part of the British Isles occupied by Nazi Germany during World War II. Jenny Lecoat was born there not long after the war ended and grew up hearing stories of her family’s resistance efforts during the occupation. Now Lecoat has turned the true stories of two women who were part of that resistance into her first novel called “The Girl from the Channel Islands.”
