President Biden wants to gradually double the current minimum wage over the next few years to reach $15 an hour by 2025. Biden says it will reduce poverty in America. His political opponents say it’ll just make things worse for the poor. Even economists don’t agree on whether a higher minimum wage will help or hurt America.
