There’s a new bill in Congress to monitor and target domestic terrorism like America has done for decades with international terrorist groups. But Americans also have a constitutional right to criticize the government and political leaders. So how can the FBI or Department of Homeland Security target domestic terrorism without trampling on those rights? Ryan Vogel worked on counterterrorism efforts at the US Department of Defense and currently leads the Center for National Security Studies at Utah Valley University.
