The Taiwan Folk Music Ensemble was founded in 2007 with the mission of promoting and spreading Taiwan’s traditional folkloric music and dance. Comprised of 39 members of all ages, they have participated in festivals all over Europe in places such as Germany, Portugal, Spain and Belgium. They’re in town this week to perform at the Springville World Folkfest, and they’re directed by Yu-Jia Liou (Seven.)
