Donna Fairbanks and Hilary Demske

Show veterans Dr. Donna Fairbanks and Dr. Hilary Demske return to our studio to perform two very-special selections from Czech composer Leos Janacek. They recently performed their repertoire to standing ovations in Brno, Janacek's hometown in the Czech Republic. Dr Fairbanks is Chair of the Department of Music at Utah Valley University and holds degrees from the University of Arizona, Eastman School of Music, and Brigham Young University. Dr Demske is Associate Professor and Director of Piano Studies at Utah Valley Univeristy. She is a Steinway Artist and holds degrees from the University of Michigan, the Julliard School, and the Peabody Conservatory of Music. Both of them have travelled and performed with ensembles and as soloists all over the world. Hear more of the story about their Czech Republic performances in their interviews with Steve.
