Fan-Ya Lin is an award-winning artist from Taipei, Taiwan who recently graduated from Weber State University and is about to move to New York to earn her master’s degree at Julliard. Some of her most recent accolades include “Best Performance Award” at the Winner’s Concert of the American Protégé International Competition, 1st place in the Snowy Range Piano Competition, and the national 1st place prize at the MTNA Steinway Young Artist Piano Competition.  Weber State’s Dr. Yang has said that “…she’s so remarkably elevated the reputation of Weber State University in the US and abroad that she’s brought more prestige to the school through her piano playing than any music student in the 20 years I’ve been teaching here.”  Host: Steven Kapp Perry  Repertoire: Toccata in C minor – J.S.
